Schw-ingo!

We had such a blast last year, we've made this an annual event! Debuting to a sold-out crowd last summer, this year's Schwingo will again be a spin on the typical Bingo. Make Studio and local artists have teamed up to offer art prizes!

Doors open at 5 with DJ Redlocks' music and Slainte on Wheels with delicious food available for sale. Then, bingo begins at 6. The "Ambassador of Hampden," Lou Catelli will be our celebrity caller, amongst surprise guests.

All proceeds will directly benefit the programming at Make Studio, including our studio program for emerging adult artists with disabilities and inclusive arts activities for all.

Tickets are required and may be available at the door. But that's only if we don't sell out in advance, so don't wait too long to get yours! Presale tickets available here.

"6 OF ONE, HALF DOZEN OF THE OTHER"

Make Studio is pleased to present 6 of One, Half Dozen of the Other. This limited run exhibition in our Showroom Gallery will feature a selection of special projects undertaken by the now close to 30 participating artists in our studio program.

Commemorating our 6th anniversary, the original art showcased will range from delicate drawings to large mixed media sculptures and wood constructions, and almost everything in-between.

The exhibition runs through March 8th (on view during our regular weekly hours or by appointment). But you're invited to attend the opening and our birthday celebration on February 20th! This free event will feature music, refreshments, hands-on art-making demos, and a raffle and silent auction supporting the studio program. Stay tuned for more details....

Please join us to experience the beauty to be found when difference is celebrated on equal footing, rather than used as a basis to judge or exclude.
